Three things you do on day one
1. Install + configure the booking tool
In Animam → Tools enable BOOK_MEETING. Connect your Google Calendar (OAuth in 2 clicks) — the bot now sees your real availability and proposes slots accordingly.
2. Tag your home page with LocalBusiness + OpeningHours schema
Open admin chat. “Add LocalBusiness schema to my home page with our address, phone, opening hours, services list.” The bot drafts the JSON-LD and writes it. Auto-detect for AI Overviews.
3. Wire the lead webhook to your CRM (Doctolib / Calendly)
When the bot books an appointment, push the structured event to your existing calendar tool via webhook. Configure once.
FAQ
Will it ask the right qualifying questions for my industry?
Configure the BOOK_MEETING tool with the questions you ask on phone (insurance, urgency, postal code, service type). The bot collects them in the conversation and includes them in the booking event.
My calendar is Doctolib, not Google. Does it work?
Native Google Calendar today; Doctolib via webhooks (the bot pushes the structured booking, you handle the Doctolib API on your side). Native Doctolib integration on the roadmap.
Voice (telephony) when?
Voice via Vapi works on the apex platform; the WP plugin doesn’t expose it self-serve yet. Pilot with select local businesses now ; general availability Q3 2026.
GDPR / patient data?
OVH France, signed DPA, no patient health data stored beyond the conversation transcript (configurable retention). Compliant for European medical / legal use.
